Layouts: Week 1 and 2
Here is the 2 page spread that I created for weeks 1 and 2. I used a template by Taylor Made Designs for week 1 and papers by Lorie Davison from her Faerily Moonlit kit (you can find it at www.scrapbookgraphics.com). I have a tag on my week 2 by Melany Violette's SummerBeginnings kit.
Days 7-10
So I got very busy this week, but I still took my photos. I just didn't get around to posting them until now.
On Day 10, we went to a classroom birthday party. Zachary and the other boys were jumping from the park stage, and I caught this one of Zachary and just loved the shadow behind him and the action of his body.
TFL!

This one is obviously two photos merged. I just love each one of my kids, so I combined them for Day 8. They just love playing on our boat. It's too bad it doesn't run.
On Day 9, we headed to Walt Disney World. Lorelei was following Matt and doing all these nutty things with her hands and giggling wildly. I laughed so hard at her, and had to snap a photo. This was my favorite of the ones I got that night. On Day 10, we went to a classroom birthday party. Day 6: Love
Today, I decided it was time to get a good photo of both my kids together. It took me 68 photos to get this one really great (imo) photo. There were a few other ok ones, but this one was my favorite from today.
My husband designed the playset in our back yard for Zachary when he was 2. That platform will (hopefully) become a club house with the slide as an exit someday in the future. Both kids really get good use of it.

Day 5: The Moon
So I lay on the ground last night taking photos of the night sky. A few of those turned out really cool, so when I saw the moon today, while driving home from school, I knew what my photo just had to be.
So, here it is, The Moon!
Makes me want to find an adapter and lens that will allow my P&S to do more telephoto stuff.

Day 4: Fetch
Our little dog, Isis, love love loves to play fetch. She's very animated when you're holding her ball. She runs like a nut and will let you know when she's tuckered out. Today, I threw with my left hand while shooting her. I just love how this photo turned out.
She can be very hard to photograph, but I'm loving this photo.

Day 3: Birthday Bash Pony Ride
This photo doesn't quite make it into the "great photo" category, but it's the best photo I got today. I don't know what's up with me, but my skills seem to be faltering.
Today, we attended a 2nd birthday party where there was a petting zoo (I'll scrap some of those on my weekly layout), pony rides and a little train ride. I got a couple ok shots of both kids, but seeing Zachary up on a pony (he doesn't usually go gaga over animals) was priceless. He really would have gone riding again if we hadn't run out of pony riding time.
Thanks for checking me out!

Day 2: Taking Down the Christmas Lights
My hot hot hubby and sweet DS went up on the roof this afternoon and started taking down the Christmas lights.
It was around 75 degrees today, here in Central Florida.

Day 1
I took the kids out to do photos with Matt's car, since they are both always asking to go "faster", but I messed up the settings on the camera, and all the kid photos were icky.

Capturing 2009: A Project 365 Photo Journal
My list of resolutions is probably about the same as everyone else's - exercise more, enjoy life more, pay off debt, etc. This year, however, I'm taking on a challenge.
I've joined Project 365 over at ScrapbookGraphics and plan to take 1 photo every day. Of course, we all know I take many more photos than that, but I plan to feature 1 of those photos on my new blog, Capturing 2009, every day. At the end of each week, I'll feature a weekly layout, and at the end of the month, I'll do a month in review. Since most of my photos are of my kids, that will be my main theme.
I am also considering doing a Project 52 Quest where I will feature ME - getting in shape, playing with my kids, enjoying life a bit more. I'll update with a new blog featuring my Project 52 when I get started.
Please take the time to add my Project 365 blog to your list of things to read.

Project 365
This year, I'm taking on a challenge to take a photograph every day and scrapbook it. I haven't quite decided how I'll do my layouts, but I'll do them and post them here, at ScrapbookGraphics and on Flickr. I don't really see myself doing 365 layouts b/c I like to print them and that would be a HUGE book. Watch for at least Weekly Updates to my layouts and daily photos.
You can find the challenge HERE.
In case you're wondering, my new blog header was done with PS CS3 using digital papers from the Night and Day kit by Beth Rimmer. Text is Amienne. Blogger tutorial can be found at http://www.squidoo.com/customize_blogger.
